Yes you can, but only by using the rules for creating a new spell and inserting the aspect you already master into the new spell. That only requires you to have knowledge of a root, i.e. owning the codex that it's written in. It will take you 4 weeks to create it. If you could actually master the root previously, the process only takes 8 hours.
You could do something like this, where the spell is modified to be cast with Fototropi instead of Pyrotropi.
It's kind of up to your group if you allow learning variants of mysteries in this reformalized way right from the start. Personally, I think it's fine to write your own mysteries into the game, especially for a new character who starts with 4-6 learned mysteries if you can motivate why they learned a particular variant of those mysteries.
