Eon Quick question regarding learning Mysteries

Can a player character learn a mystery from a codex (or similar source) without having the Aspect skill associated to the spells in that mystery?

Without looking at the rules I would say no. To use a mysterie you need to understand it. And knowing the relevant aspect seems like a must to me.
