Jag håller på att experimentera med ett enkelt system för Encumbrance för Old School Essentials (D&D B/X, typ) och undrar om någon ser några svagheter med det här? Mål 1: Jag vill inte behöva göra matte för att räkna ut movement speed. Mål 2: Jag vill ändå ha lite mer effekt av att bära massa grejer än bara Basic Encumbrance-regeln.
You have a number of carry-slots equal to your Strength. See table 1 for how many slots carried items will use.
You can have up to three slots worth of weapons at hand. These slots don't count towards your carry-slots.
Clothing and armor worn doesn't count towards carry-slots but determine your Movement rate:
Unarmored: 120'(40')
Light armour: 90'(30')
Heavy armour: 60'(20')
You need containers to carry things that don't have straps or the like. You can carry 2 slots worth of things in each hand but if you do carry things in your hands you cannot wield weapons or shields.
Certain containers increase the number of carry-slots you have, see table 1.
A character carrying more than their allowed number of carry-slots cannot move.
