Kan det här vara nån av Roundworld-böckerna? Jag har inte läst dem men det känns som att det är Pratchett dags.

Jag har inte läst den men det finns en bok som heter typ ”Hastings 1066 and the rest of the history of England” eller nåt sånt?

Jo, jag fattar det, men jag kommer behöva 100 gissningar för att råka snubbla på rätt formulering så jag kanske lyckas trigga nån annans minne i alla fall.

Undertiteln är dessutom mer Douglas Adams-igt tillkrånglad än den jag skrev tror jag.
 
Det här var tydligen för svårt, även om @Hägerstrand var i grannskapet.
