For Sundelin or anyone who have played any of these:
I ran a handful of Vestmark sessions last year and the same group is into playing Andra Imperiet, after I scored a very nice copy off Bokborsen.se and I have a question:
If you just threw out Omtöckning from the rules, would anything actually change?
To summarize: There are three types of hit you can take:
A critical or fatal hit, where you are basically toast and it doesn't matter.
An Allvarlig hit, where you are usually out of the fight, so it won't matter.
A Lätt hit, where it does matter. But.. if you are wearing armor, your armor probably canceled most of it anyway and if you are not, you probably will take an Allvarlig hit anyways.
And after a fight, it evaporates anyways, except a few last points due to your wounds.
So would it break anything to just throw it in the bin and use a wound penalty instead (-1 per Lätt |-2 per Allvarlig)?
