"The original idea was to depict the goddesses in the Bronze Age style of the Aegean region, drawing primarily from Mycenaean fashion with some Minoan influences, especially with Aphrodite, give the place of her birth.
With the help of my dear friend @buccifolio I inscribed the apple with the Linear B text ka-ri-te. Our understanding of Linear B is still limited, but this appears to be the closest approximation of the word kallistē (“to the fairest”) in the script, as Linear B does not seem to have a separate sign for the s sound.

I decided to portray them in more familiar Classical Greek clothing as well. This makes the goddesses more easily recognizable to a wider audience while still preserving the inspiration behind the original concept."

Women are believed to have painted vibrant red, sun-shaped rosettes or radiating motifs on their foreheads, cheeks, and chins, accompanied by bold eyebrows and heavy eyeliner.
I also added white face paint to make the sun rosettes and black eyeliner stand out even more, although there is no historical evidence that this type of full-face covering was actually used.
