With the caveat that dual classing never worked all that well, I sort of like that it works differently conceptually for different characters :D The folks on Dragonsfoot wrote like a multi page guide to try to decipher it. Its a complete mess.

The main one Id note for adventures is that a lot of monsters were made stronger in 2e, particularly things like dragons. Also anything with psionics is not at all compatible. Honestly if I was running AD&D1, Id just drop psionics and give those monsters some spell like abilities
