Låtar som direkt refererar rollspel

"Logar's Diary is a Fantasy Power Metal band from Berlin/Germany. We are a six-piece and our songs are dealing with the adventures of the magician Logar in the Earthdawn universe (Earthdawn is a famous role-playing-game). Logar wrote down his quests and found some bards (us, the band!) who wrote the music for his lyrics."

 
Inte en låttext direkt, men tycker det är mysigt att Fenriz från Darkthrone tog loggan till sitt soloprojekt Isengard från MERP.

Jag tycker också att man kan höra rollspelsintresset lysa igenom i vissa av Darkthrones texter, t ex i Those Treasures Will Never Befall You:

”Shaken and stirred in the dungeons!
Why is it you find yourself there?
Left in the mud - without a torch
(a fruitless endeavour) and no one cares!
...no they don't - ah!

Seen stumbling around in darkness - questioning honours and dreams
Those treasures will never befall you - they're out of reach

Fun fact: Allies Goertz debut album (som denna låt var med på) var den första produkten jag någonsin kickstartade.
 
Ancient Dreams av Candlemass innehåller raden "Devils and demons, Dungeons and Dragons", och börjar med något som låter som en beskrivning av rollspel:

Snudd på fusk men Saltatio Mortis - Finsterwacht. Hela plattan är ett samarbete med bl.a Das Schwarze Auge.
Och videon till titelspåret har dom lagt en del krut (och smink) på. Orcher, svärd och äventyr! Det finns en director´s cut också som klockar in på 16 min som jag inte haft tid att kolla än.

Jag har noterat de raderna jag med. Jag frågade t o m en bekant som känner låtskrivaren Leif Edling om det men enligt honom så var Leif inte, vad han visste i alla fall, rollspelare.
