Här är början på ett äventyr till MERP/SRR taget från MERP c-p-list. Vad säger ni, någon som har nån bra idé om en fortsättning?

In the period named The years of the sun and the moon which ends in the War of wrath also contains four great battles between the elves and Morgoth. It's in the second battle Feanor dies struck by Gothmog and in the forth Fingolfin challanges Morgoth to single combat. During these battles must a great number of powerful artifacts been lost to Morgoths forces but also to dragons, powerful troll lords or orc cheifs. But what do we really know?
The story should begin somewhere in Gondor where the PC's encounter a small market and one of them, should be an elf, preferably a Noldo sees this black, dull crystal which to which he feels some kind of force. The merchant which sells offers the PC to have a closer look and hands the crystal over. Suddenly the PC see from another persons view. He's walking across a great icy landscape with a great host consisting of elven warriors. He also have some other "visions" and one which ends with the jaw of a dragon which decends upon him. Then the PC pass out which can lead to a funny situation when the citizens check up on the stranger.
The person from whose eyes the PC saw through was a Mage and close friend to Fingolfin, and the first vision was from their wandering across the Helcaraxe to aid the hasty Feanor. The crystal shard is one of three (or any fixed number) to fit in a amulet which was worn by the mage (Not any suitable name yet).
Now the PC might want to find the remaining pieces to rebuild the amulet. Currently I've thought that it might have been separated by some unholy ritual and that the pieces sent to different locations beacause it's hazardous to even keep if you're of evil alignment.
First the PCs perhaps need someone to tell them about the history and then to locate an item in which it's written where the other crystal shards is hidden.
I'd say there's room for quite many ideas here. Maybe it's a classic "lost and find adventure" but it's the different parts that need to involve events to change the whole and involving intruiges and such things around the main story that makes any adventure great.
