WOD veteran here: If you are starting out absolutely 100% focus on one game and dont try to mix them up front.
think of the games as parallel realities.
If you guys do print friendly versions it might be worth leaving off the covers on those but leaving them on the high quality one. Though I guess people can just not print the first page :)
It is no end of confusion to me that Danish Venstre is a "borgerlig" (free trade conservative) party but Swedish Vänster is a left wing party. :)
Also how come the North is more left leaning? Usually you would assume this to be a city driven thing. In Denmark, the most west (and rural) you go...
Sentence (and also a question so correct and answer in Swedish if you would be so good :) )
Jag läsar nyheterna och de talade om "matjätter" som sälger salad. Vad är en matjätte?
For my groups specifically the biggest is that sometimes the energy is just not there. One group meets on a weekday night after work and everyone is pretty flat. We solved this by basically just accepting that it will be a bit more of a "see the sights" adventure. They are free to do anything...
I know a couple of people who found their favourite teams by playing Fifa :)
For American soccer (MSL and NWSL) and Swedish I watch highlights and check the standings.
Wolfsburg - Stuttgart 2-2. Could have been a Wolfsburg win but drawn in the absolute last moment. Stuttgart doesnt mess around and the wolves came out with the counterattack plays.
Mainz - Heidenheim 0-2. Mainz disorganised and nit strong on defence while Heidenheim played a hell of a game.
Also if people have favourite hockey teams in the SHL that they would like to suggest to follow, please do so :)
Right now it is a little difficult to actually watch games from over here but hopefully that changes in the future, so I am just watching highlights and so on.
Ones standing out so...
We absolutely need more "pike and shot" RPGing, agreed 100%. My main interest is usually the English Civil War but I can definitely go earlier as well.
If you can make it through the archaic english (translated from French at that)...
