Ill admit I cant get into NFL, but I watch the occasional CFL (Canadian gridiron) game, which is a bit more fast paced. You might be able to watch free on cfl plus.

MLS is quite fun, I support Vancouver as I said but Id also recommend checking out Portland and Seattle in the West: all three are fun teams with great histories. In the East i watch Columbus occasionally. Of course since we just signed Thomas Muller, everyone is buzzing with excitement.

Yeah, let me clarify actually because I might just be USA-brained. A lot of places in the US are built primarily for car transit and it is difficult (or dangerous) to get around on bike or foot (few bike lanes, foot bridges etc.)

I was going to add to what Nano said, that the timing becomes very important. That can be super cool, but if the goal is to be as simple as possible, that might add a moment of decision paralysis.
