So as Ive mentioned in a couple places, I am looking to improve my Svenska particularly writing and speaking which is far behind my ability to listen and read. I am checking if anyone might be interested in:
A: Exchanging emails, basically like being pen pals where we can have a simple...
Also on Swedish cell phone plans, is hot spot usually included or do you pay separately for that?
Over here, a lot of companies either block hot spot capability or charge more if you use it.
Looking at house prices in various areas, I am noticing that the difference between what seems like rural / village and city prices is much bigger than I expected.
Now some of these might be scams of course :) but I am seeing a lot of pretty nice little houses for not that much money, especially...
Thought:
In movies characters often reload while taking cover from fire anyways or to exchange a few one liners.
In other words it has nothing to do with “ammo”.
Additionally you can assume that when a character shoots the target shoots back a few times but miss, I.e. constant firing, we just...
Looking at suggestions and poking around at old books, I think my heart is settling on the Zorakin / Kardien / Caddo line. A lot to do in a narrow space and from there, you can proceed in almost any number of directions.
I have a silly idea that I always wanted to do, which is to run a campaign...
In my experience from wargaming people get pretty sour if they run out ammo on their first attack, so I would be cautious with making it random.
Another factor is whether reloading should matter at all. It takes 1-2 seconds to swap out for any typical pistol or assault rifle. How long are your...
My gut feeling would be that single shots don’t count ammo and burst fire takes half the mag.
If you want to simplify it more limit guys with Uzis and AKs to 2 mags per fight. After that they are either out of ammo or the barrel is glowing
If you arent in a super rush, Im happy to give it a critical read. Ping me at runequester@icloud.com and I should be able to read through it later this week.
theres no way to do it without biting the bullet and putting yourself out there, yeah.
My only other piece of advice is that when you find a couple of people who are willing to playtest things, hang on to them for dear life. In my experience for every 20 people who agree 2 will follow through...
Not everything is miniatures and warfare, I did Ballad of the Longbow a neat little game (I think)about Robin Hood style adventure

My suggestion (coming from miniatures gaming, but theres some overlap I wager) is to NOT pop down 500 grand for art work on this project.
Try to find a way to get a prototype out there, even as a print and play, with simpler art, maybe go for black and white instead of colour up front or rely...
we play War of the RIng once a year and while it is such a bother to set up and remember all the special conditions that apply to everything, it is easily one of the most memorable games of all year. Something about it just creates a story.
Anyone who would be interested in playing some hex wargames over VASSAL?
I have a pretty large collection, mostly ww1 and ww2, and is happy to teach someone. Been teaching a couple of my friends to play ASL starter kit but we could start with something a little lighter :)
We'd need to work...
Does hex and counter games count?
I have been teaching two of my friends to play Advanced Squad Leader and I recently picked up France 40 from GMT to get to table pretty soon.
Setting aside scenarios for a minute, if you were going to try to trace a line through every nation on the map, to visit in a campaign, where would you start and end ?
Im tempted to say starting in Caddo since it seems that is the first land to get detailed in Sinkadus? Where do you go from there?
